Sadly we had to suspend our group sessions in March 2020 because of the Coronavirus crisis and we’ve not been able to restart the groups yet. We’re all trying to find ways to cope during this incredibly difficult time.
Among the many sayings being bandied about to give us hope and strength, here’s a lovely one that is particularly relevant to all of us in Dancing for Well-Being –
“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain”
So, to help members and volunteers keep dancing and lift your spirits we successfully applied for funding to provide you with your own bag of colourful props – pompoms, shaker eggs, scarves and ribbon sticks. When it’s possible to start the groups again we’ll ask you to bring these with you so we can all enjoy dancing with the props again together. But until then we hope you’ll have some fun with them at home.

At home you can use your props when you listen to music on the radio, or on radio stations on your TV, or when you join our Thursday Zoom sessions. Also, Jackie, Nicola and Jann from our staff team, together with Bilton group volunteer Fiona, have filmed some sessions of dances with props so you can dance with us any time you like by clicking on any of the sessions below –
